I visited Fourth of July Canyon in the Monzano Mountains about 1.5 hours south of Albuquerque. I believe it is only 1 of 2 places in the entire state of New Mexico where you can find Maple trees.  

I managed to go when the falls colors peaked. I think the photos speak for themselves. 

I tried taking a selfie but they just didn’t come out right. This was the only half way decent pic of me…sigh….
